Unsere Dienstleistungen

For more than 30 years our company develops the field of in-situ acoustic emission monitoring and ultrasonic transmission and is a renowned expert for underground experiments, seismo-mechanical analysis, geomechanical laboratories and underground research.

Überwachung

We perform passive seismic monitoring and active ultrasonic transmission measurements focusing on frequencies 1000 Hz < f < 200.000 Hz

Auswertung

We process, evaluate and interpret seismic data applying state-of-the-art scientific analysis in order to understand seismo-(hydro)-mechanical processes in salt rock, crystalline rocks and shales.

Entwicklung

We develop fit-to-purpose (in-situ) Acoustic Emission sensors for borehole and rock face installation. We provide our established acquisition and software solutions for high-resolution seismic monitoring and near-realtime analysis of seismic data.

Beratung

We provide our expertise in the planning, design and optimization of underground research projects to academia and industry. Next to seismic monitoring we offer help in multi-disciplinary monitoring solutions underground or in boreholes.  

Unser Unternehmen

We are a consulting and service company active in contract research and development. Established in 1993 as a spin-off from the Battelle-Institute Frankfurt, Germany, GMuG has spent over three decades developing the field of picoseismicity, providing advanced expertise to universities, research facilities, and mining companies worldwide.

Our core competencies include (in-situ) acoustic emission and microseismic monitoring, ultrasonic measurements in mines and (underground) laboratories, as well as analysis and interpretation of seismo-mechanical processes related to the evolution of (micro-)cracks in the rock mass at extremely high resolution. GMuG offers comprehensive and client-tailored solutions including design and production of fit-to-purpose monitoring equipment and software, monitoring system planning, installation and operation, as well as state-of-the art data analysis.
